Kjrsten Schindler was born in Minnesota. She grew up with her parents on their farm in Minnesota (2001-2002); Wisconsin (2002-2005); South Dakota (2005-2023); Delta Junction, Alaska (2012-present); and now lives in Fairbanks, Alaska (2019-present) while she attends college at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks (UAF).

When she started at UAF, she majored in Biology and Pre-Vet medicine to become a veterinarian. After a combined set of circumstances, Kjrsten decided to take a break from Biology and take a few fun classes, including her first acting class, her first psychology class, and her first vocal class. These classes ignited a passion that she was unaware of.

So in her 3rd year, Kjrsten started her new journey as a double major in Psychology and Film with double minors in Creative Writing and Music: Vocal Performance. She continued on this journey until her 5th and current year when she added two additional minors: Justice and Theatre. While Kjrsten has done the majority of schooling at UAF, she did study film at Utah State for a summer (2021). She believes that this class was the starting inspiration for her current academic journey while her first acting class was the catalyst.

Kjrsten would also love to thank a few people who have provided her with great inspiration, support, and love, including but not limited to: her mom, her dad, Dulce Villasenor, the Villasenor family, Carrie Baker, Maya Salganek, Daryl Farmer, Jen Peterson, Amy Horstman-Ingram, and so many more friends she met along the way!
